ENGLISH OPENS DOORS SPELLING BEE COMPETITION

On Thursday, August 23rd three representative from the sixth grade – Sara Hermosilla, Fernanda Hermosilla, and Joan Tapia – travelled to Concepción with Miss. María Cristina Guzmán and Naomi Jane Lesnewski to compete in the provincial round of the English Opens Doors Spelling Bee. This round hosted the best schools from the Ñuble and Concepción provinces, but we are pleased to report that the Sebastian School is one of only three schools to advance to the regional competition in September! There we hope to win and then represent Bio-Bio in the national competition in November. Congratulations to Sara, Fernanda, and Joan!
